If China is the house of many people with various culture and ethnics, then Chengdu is the house of tea with wide variety of tea. Chengdu is laid in southwest of Republic of Cina. This is the capital of Sichuan province and the most important economic center. Chengdu is well-known as the Land of Abundance. People named it so because of the abundance of Chengdu Plain. Nowadays, it still has the abundance of finance since many tourists consider going to this place to enjoy the genuine taste of tea.

In Chengdu, teahouse is just same as Coffeeshop in other countries. Most people call it with Chalou. The people always spend lots of time there, laid-back and chat casually. If you go to Chengdu, you will find that this is the alternative to calm yourself and take a breath for several times while you are enjoying the sound of traditional instruments played in a harmony. Teahouses not just serve you with various tea,like oolong, blac, or green tea, but also traditional food,like dim sum.

The people in Chengdu always speak with Sichuanese, a language they have. The people are so nice and polite but it is better for you to take a local guide to translate your language into theirs. The cold weather will be covered y eating spicy and hot food in Chengdu. All dishes in Chengdu is really spicy. The most popular one is Grandma’s Tofu.
